What makes GDM stand out?

GDM Coffee is a Tanzanian-owned farm and coffee exporter rooted in the fertile highlands of Mbeya. Founded in 2000 by Grivas D. Mwangoka, our mission has always been to produce high-quality coffee while uplifting the people and communities around us. Over the years, we have grown from a family-run operation into a respected name in specialty coffee, known for our consistent quality, ethical farming practices, and transparent processing.

Our farm sits at over 1,500 meters above sea level, where the rich soils, cool climate, and careful cultivation yield complex and vibrant Arabica beans. We manage every step of the journey—from handpicking to washing, drying, and export—ensuring each lot reflects our commitment to excellence and traceability. With a team that swells to over 300 seasonal workers during harvest, we not only grow coffee, we grow impact.

  • For over two decades, GDM Coffee has been crafting exceptional Tanzanian coffee with integrity, precision, and care.
  • Our story is one of people, place, and passion—rooted in Mbeya, shared with the world.
  • From farm to export, every bean reflects our deep commitment to quality, sustainability, and community impact.
